As a foster-based rescue, our foster homes are vital to our lifesaving efforts. We can only take in animals when we have foster homes available to care for them.

All costs associated with fostering are covered by Kauai SPCA. All you have to do is provide a safe, loving temporary home for an animal in need until a permanent home or transfer opportunity becomes available.

Foster placements can last anywhere from two days to two months and we are always willing to work with foster homes to find placements that best fit their home and schedule.
